Trip-IT Details
Trip-IT is a road trip planning application developed for Android. The app interfaces with a hardware accelerator designed by our team to calculate the route for set of destinations the user wants to travel to. Once the user has entered a list of destinations they want to see our app uses the Google Maps API to get the distances of every location to each other. This information is then passed to the accelerator and the shortest path for the road trip is calculated and displayed on the map also using the Google Maps API.
